Fellow players,

Definition #8 of SIALID is correct: a neuropterous insect of the family Sialidae, comprising the alderflies. (See picture, from The Wildlife Trusts.) I was surprised to see other insects show up as well, but apparently it sounds insectish. It sounded insectish to six people who voted for that definition, giving me a high but not totally embarrassing D6.

Alder fly | The Wildlife Trusts

Among humanoids, Debbie Embler and Tim Bourne led the pack with four points each. Debbie's score (for her prints made on a flat surface) was natural, though, while Tim earned two of his points by voting for the alderflies. Debbie thus has the next deal, with Tim able to enjoy the coveted runner-up position.
