Fellow players,

Thirteen definitions of UDAL follow. They have been edited for format consistency and are in ascending order by character count. Please vote for two by Reply to this message before the deadline, about 47 hours from now. If you realize on seeing this list that you know what UDAL means, then instead of voting publicly, please tell me by private email to emal...@verizon.net.

12. [Geol.] pertaining to or characteristic of surface conditions containing an admixture of fragmented limestone and loam or loess soils.

I first read #1 as a “fruit desert”.  But dessert is good.   And cheese pairs well with fruit so I’ll add #5.
