Following a couple of DQs, I'll try a new word. Note the new deadline also.

______________________

"New" new word for Round 3552, barring too many DQs, is: WOAD. Capitalization is not significant. Do not look it up! Please create a fake definition and send that definition to jmadnick at gmail.com before the deadline, which is Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 7 p.m. Eastern Time or the corresponding time where you live! https://www.timeanddate.com

If you know this word, please let me know ASAP. If too many players know the definition (i.e., if it's a word that you're famiiar with but I'm not!), I will find a new word.

Full rules are available here. https://sites.google.com/dixonary.net/dixonarydocs/game-rules-and-advice/rules

Fun Fact.   Back in the CompuServe days Dave Cunningham and I not only played Dixonary in TAPCIS but the "Fictionary" version in the MPGAMES forum, which also hosted support for British Legends, a modified version of Richard Bartles' MUD2.

After "beating the game" to become a "Wizard" many of us kept playing throwaway characters to fight those trying to also achieve the same glory we had.  And my favorite one was ElmerFudd.

"Be vewy vewy quiet! I'm hunting wegends!" could oft be heard (seen?) game-wide.
