Need a Bosun’s Chair

Hello All,
Monday afternoon Liz and I parted our jib halyard while enjoying the wind on Lake Martin and now I need to climb the mast to rethread a new one. Before I go and purchase a new Bosun’s Chair, I thought I would ask if anyone in the club has one, or a climbing harness, that I could borrow.

I also would like to ask if there are a couple of strong people willing to team up and help hoist me up the mast after my new halyard arrives from the sailmaker. It is likely to be at least a week or two before the new halyard arrives, so helpers are not needed immediately, just preplanning at this point

I need to climb my mast too.  My bolson chair is a simple 2x4 with notches on both ends the way I made swings as a kid.  I also know a knot that makes this much safer.  The knot I learned many years ago working for Davey Tree Service in their climbing crew.  It will hold you in position or you can repel as fast or slow as you want.  I was there this past weekend, and I try to go every other weekend if this fits your timeline, I'll be happy to help you if you can help me.
