excuse me but I have this problem when I want to upload a file opened just before :

"Unexpected error in database engine.

Source: D7Dbengine.projectsettings.setting

Internal error number 3022

Internal error description : the changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key or relationship.

Etc

Error raised from Distance.ModMain.main

Error source : D7DbEng.projectsettings.setting

Error number : -2147211505"

I use Windows defender, windows 11

 What can I do ?

Can you explain again the circumstances under which this problem arises?  Am I correct in my understanding of the events:

• you have worked with a Distance for Windows project and closed the project
• you reopen the project and are presented with this message, correct?

It would seem that the database Distance for Windows uses to store information about your analysis has a problem.

I don't know the exact remedy for this problem, but perhaps you might be able to work with a backup copy of your project.  Have a look in the directory where the project resides to see if there is a file and directory with the same name, but with a tilde and dollar sign in front (these are the backup file and folder for your project).  See below

Copy both to a new location, rename them and try to open that project, which may not have the problem.
