Yamaha DKC-900 announced in Japan ... March 2020 ships ... no info on Yamaha USA website or NAMM

I saw from KevinG message about updates to his DKV Browser software that he is “rethinking his efforts given Yamaha has now announced DKC-900” (my paraphrase)

 

The below is all I could find from brief web research ,.. I have not called Yamaha tech support yet or dealers ... perhaps this was demoed at NAMM in LA last week?> (I did not go this time)

  • Add-on for E3 and Mark IVs only !!!
  • USB Flash Drive • The USB flash drive should be formatted in FAT16 or FAT32 file system. •  ***NO NTFS large file or # of files support????
  • A search of the YAMAHA USA website for “DKC-900” only shows firmware update available for Enspires ... no product mention of DKC-900
  • JP¥235,000 = USD$2,150

 

Any other intelligence?
