Does WebRTC support frames with alpha channel?

Incoming ARGB frame has to be converted to I420VideoFrame which is then fed to VP8/9 encoder. Does it support alpha channel? I know VP8/9 support encoding alpha.

AFAIK we have not implemented alpha channel support yet. +Peter Boström can you confirm?

Nope, we only support I420, RGB(A) would be especially handy for screenshare over VP9 but it hasn't been prioritized yet. I don't think the alpha channel is prioritized at all yet.
