Two postdoctoral fellow opportunities are open at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. One fellow will be focused on research about tropical cyclones hazards and actionable regional climate science, and the other will be focused on scientific and observational gaps in our understanding of afternoon thunderstorms over western Puerto Rico. Position Title: Postdoctoral Fellow - Interdisciplinary Climate Science

Salary: $60,000/year

This is an in-person, full-time postdoctoral fellow position at UPRM. The starting salary will be $60K with benefits, including healthcare. The term of the position is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year, contingent on satisfactory progress. While the start date can be flexible, the team is expecting the candidate to begin summer 2025.
