Hi,
Can somebody point me to how to add the FreeDV RADE decode mode
in KA9Q's ka9q-web? I have an RX-888 running well on Fedora 44.

I note, the samplerate for most decoders is 12k whereas FreeDV uses 8k.

I have FreeDV RADE decode in OpenWebRX+ here:

The audio quality is superb. And, the listener experience not
having to endure SSB noise, lightning crashes and silence between QSOs.

The death of  SSB is coming....

Hi Alan,

There might be some information in https://github.com/drowe67/freedv-gui/issues/1222 that's relevant for you, but generally information on running freedv-ka9q can be found in its README (https://github.com/drowe67/freedv-gui/blob/master/src/integrations/ka9q/README.md).

Thanks,

Thanks Mooneer, you have done your bit, I'm no guru programmer, I need the ka9q-web developer to add modes
that process SSB input and output processed audio from a selection of decoders. As is done for FT8.

As I see it, we need more webSDRs that can decode RADE so it's (RADE) usefulness can be demonstrated.
