I am thinking this might be a "Dumb" question!

Previous versions with Python,  required running the installation "As Administrator" for a Windows install.

Does 2.3.0 require this?

No it does not Rick. You should be just fine.

 

It should not have required that with the previous version either, so not sure what that was about.

 

But give it a shot, and let us know if you have any issues.

To clarify, Windows will ask to run the installer as Administrator as that's needed to write to C:\Program Files. But the 2.3.0 installer will not run any additional applications to e.g. install Python as that's no longer needed.
