Hi Roy, (and everyone else),

The IC7300MKII (nice rig btw), isn't yet supported by the hamlib that's on DigiPi.

I'll look into it, but I'm curious if anyone else has updated hamlib for new rig
support and confirmed all the apps still work?

Is there a rignumber or CIV work-alike?

Thanks for the info Craig. I have been trying the ic7300 rig number.  From what I have seen it should be the same but I’m more than likely I’m wrong. Because of the 2 virtual comports built in the IC7300 MK2.   If that’s the case I will look into seeing  if I can use my Yaesu Ftx-1 Optima. I also have a Xiegu G90 that is a prospect.  Yes I do have a few rigs. These are just my newer HF ones. lol. I was going to set up the G90 after I got my Ic7300MK2 set up. But was waiting to see how I liked it. I am an OTR truck driver and basically setting up a home shack, a shack in the truck and a POTA station. All at the same time. And now my brain has went haywire. lol.  😂 I was going to sell the FTX-1 Optima and get an IC705 and a Xiegu 125b amp for mobile/portable/ POTA But I Got talked out of it. Haha 🤣 and then I’m in the process of putting money back for an IC 9700 for satellite work. Yea. I’ve put a lot of money into the stations within the past year. I’m trying to get set up for eventually being able to retire.

I too am interested in setting up a Digipi to control my ic7300 MKII.  I have had good success using Digipi with my ic705 in the go kit and think that having one "in the shack" connected to my ic7300 mkII would be a lot easier than setting up all of the individual apps on yet another laptop or linux box. After all, Craig has already done the work! Thank You!  Also, it is fun to be able to easily access my radio with just my phone or tablet while I'm working around the house.

So, if anyone sorts out how to connect with an ic7300 mkII I'd be interested.
