I just installed digipi-2.1.2 and I am trying to use it as a digipeater. I have a Btech UV-Pro and when the digipeater starts the UV-Pro hears it transmit. However, when the UV-Pro send it's position the Digipi does not appear to be receiving the packets. The digipi is connected to another Baofeng via AIOC. Can you point me in the right direction to find out why it is not receiving packets?
Here is a copy of my PktLog:

Reading config file /run/direwolf.digipeater.conf
Config file: FILTER IG ... on line 30.
Warning! Don't mess with IS>RF filtering unless you are an expert and have an unusual situation.
Warning! The default is fine for nearly all situations.
Warning! Be sure to read carefully and understand  "Successful-APRS-Gateway-Operation.pdf" .
Warning! If you insist, be sure to add " | i/180 " so you don't break messaging.
Line 35: Warning - IGFILTER is a rarely needed expert level feature.
If you don't have a special situation and a good understanding of
how this works, you probably should not be messing with it.
The default behavior is appropriate for most situations.
Please read "Successful-APRS-IGate-Operation.pdf".
Could not extract card number or name from default

Hey Bill, thanks for the PktLog

the audio device is up and working, so i'm concerned there's a disconnect
between the aioc and the 'feng.  volume knob up about 25%?  on 144.390,
not in narrow-mode?

you can open a Shell (password raspberry) and get a visual "vu meter" by
running the command

arecord -vvv /dev/null

Then mess with the 'feng volume until it's about 50%

Max peak (1000 samples): 0x0000000b ##                   8%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x0000000b ##                   8%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x0000000a ##                   7%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x00000041 ###########          50%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x00000040 ###########          50%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x00000040 ###########          50%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x00000041 ###########          50%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x00000041 ###########          50%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x00000041 ###########          50%
Max peak (1000 samples): 0x00000041 ###########          50%

make sure the TNC's are in the off position first.

Then we'll know if you're getting audio.

cool,
-craig

Thanks Craig,

I have the AIOC is connected to a  BF-F8HP and it is configured as you suggest. I will look at the AIOC and make sure that the connections on it are ok.
