Hi,

My digipi (latest version) running on a pi 4B for a couple of weeks in Igate mode stopped working. Checking the pktlog showed a hamlib error. file missing something like that. (Sorry forgot to take a screenshot.) Stop and restart the Igate mode did not solve the problem. Had to reboot digipi to get going again.

Wise to reboot every now and then with cron...?

Hi Kees,

the missing file is likely "/dev/ttyUSB0" (cat control) or similar as that vanishes when there is
excessive RF on the USB/audio cables which causes the Pi to protect itself as
it senses EMI.  The fix is ferrites on the cables and/or antenna relocation.

I secretly schedule a reboot on DigiPi's which are remote or inaccessible, once
a week seems sufficient, and they run for months/years.  "sudo remount; sudo crontab -e"

bedankt,
-craig
