Craig,
I am trying to get my digipi to work with my AIOC that is connected to my beofang AR-5M. I have it connected to a external antenna with ferrite beads on it. When I try to key up from another radio the AIOC does not respond. I have attached my syslog file. If you could assist me that would be great thank you.

Hi M, thanks for the details.

First, is AIOC seen at the top of the SysInfo page?

Second, start the APRS Digipeater, and wait exactly 8 seconds.  Does the
AIOC flash?
Is there any light coming from the AIOC?

Lastly, some AIOC's don't fully insert into some 'fengs.  check for
interference between
the radio and the cowlings/rings on the plugs.

... and let us know, thanks!

The AIOC is seen at the top of the Sysinfo page.
I started the APRS Digipeater and the AIOC did flash.
The AIOC has the green light that comes on when you put power to it.
When I keyed the second radio the green light went brighter.

Thank you for the help.

Okay, great, so the error is between the AIOC and the HT at this point
(or possibly
in the AIOC).  Can you confirm the plugs are solidly pushed into the
'feng?  It's
not obvious.

Also , sorry if this has already been communicated but Ferrites are required or even your HT will cause it not to work,  I use mine for testing my other nodes and the radio is a Quansheng UV-K6.

I use the small usb cables from DigiRig the ferrites are molded into the cable and are nice and short for HT's

Hope this helps  73 KB1TAE

I got the clamp-on ferrite assortments that have sizes that fit onto most USB cables. I had to put 3 or 4 of them on each cable.

My AIOC was connected to various HT’s using my digirig mobile cable, and PTT would key up once (red led) and not let go. Stuck in xmit. The cable had ferrite’s.

I brought the AIOC cable from NA6D and problem solved.

I have used ferrites on my cable and even used a external antenna. Yes the plug is solidly pushed into the HT.
I have put this project on hold for right now and am attempting to get the IC-7300 using digipi. We have a SET coming up in two weeks so I want to make sure that I have my HF working for Winlink.
Does anyone have any advice on how to setup the IC-7300 to work with PAT Winlink on the digipi?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I have it pushed in all the way to the HT for sure.
I do have ferrite beads on the cable also.
I have it connected to a outside antenna.
