I'm trying to install the PDFGETX3X3 program on my windows 10 machine. After the installation I run the command "pdfgetx3 --version" and get a message ending with "python 3.8 is not supported". I've tried installing both the .egg and the .whl packages. I've attached screen shots of the command window for both installation attempts. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thank for this Eric.  I know that python 3.7 is supported.  I am not sure if we made 3.8 not supported for some reason, I will check.   This means you will need a python 3.7 pip installer to make it work, but we will work on some more definite instructions that allows you to do that without messing up your whole default system python setup.....

Hi Eric,

We were just discussing this on a call today.  We are about to release a new version that supports Python 3.8 which will solve your problem.  The fact that we didn't do this before was an oversight, for which our profoundest apologies!    We also discussed that we will work on instructions for installing and running pdfgetx3 in a virtual environment, such as a conda environment, which can be easily tuned to run a particular version of python without messing up the rest of your computer.  Are you familiar with this?

No, I'm not... my Python experience is pretty limited. Looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks for your help on this!
