Kenny Serwa, the 27-year-old knuckleballer who can throw a nearly 90-mph knuckler, who was signed after a tryout over the winter, made his debut on Saturday for West Michigan.  He pitched 4 no-hit innings with 4 Ks and 0 walks.  His knucklers on Saturday were mostly in the 80-mph range.

I saw something about how Max Clark has five walks in three games - the Tigers may need to promote him just so he can get some pitches to hit.

19-year-old SS Bryce Rainer, the Tigers #1 pick last year, got hit by a pitch in the head in his pro debut on Friday for Lakeland.  He's supposedly ok, but what a scary start.  I'm sure facing pitchers in low A-ball is going to be risky because a lot of them probably have no idea where their pitches are going from pitch to pitch.
