Skubal won’t pitch again in WBC

Tarik Skubal confirmed he won’t pitch again in the @WBCBaseball and will return to @Tigers camp in Lakeland. He said he’s barely slept for 2 nights while agonizing over the decision but determined that he needed to stay in his routine for the regular season.

You can’t blame the guy, but this is likely foreshadowing of what’s to come.  Who wants to risk injury when there’s a $400 million payday ahead if you can just get there?  Any risk that can be avoided, should be.
