Well, that didn't take long!  Chadd's replacement as Assistant GM is Tampa Bay's Senior Director of Scouting, Rob Metzler.

Metzler has hired a scouting director, Mark Conner.  Bless you Boys has a nice article about his history.  Summary:  he has picked a lot of players who are now considered good prospects.  It doesn't say too much about players he picked that are now good players, although Cal Quantrill and Eric Lauer are two.
