This afternoon's lineup vs. righty Michael Wacha (3.66 ERA in 20 starts). Wacha and his breaking and offspeed stuff usually gives the Tigers fits. He has 11 quality starts in 12 career starts vs. the Tigers. He pitched 7 shutout, 2-hit innings against the
Tigers in May (of course, that was when everyone was shutting out the Tigers).

Tork gets the day off. Probably a good idea against Wacha.
Casey Mize (2.79 ERA in 15 starts) on the mound for the Tigers. Mize had to leave his last start early after being struck by a ball, but he also said he was experiencing groin tightness, which has plagued him all season.
Not optimistic about this one because of our track record vs. Wacha and Mize possibly not being 100%. Fingers crossed.
