OpenPnp with CHMT36VA, Drag pin

Hi everyone,

Just finished converting my CHMT36VA to OpenPnP and doing all the necessary adjustments/calibrations.

I just have one question (so far), does anyone knows if OpenPnP uses the read from the drag pin sensor to know if it's stuck or not?

I don't think there is a sensor for that on the CHMT36VA. And I don't remember that the original firmware from Charmhigh was able to read from the drag pin sensor?

Yes, the sensor is there, just above the solenoid, and the original software uses it to detect if the pin got stuck and it would not move if it did. 

OpenPnP can read the sensor with M119 (if I remember correctly) and I have it in the DRAGPIN actuator but apparently the software isn't prepared to use it.

Did not realize that, had not seen that sensor when had to replace the solenoid.

I'm currently away from the machine because of the COVID situation, I have to check it once I get back to it.

Definitely a sensor on my 36VA.

Most often encountered when fine tuning the location of the drag pin in tape.

If it gets stuck everything stops working.

Comes good once the pin is freed.
