On Wednesday we discussed the possibility of putting a shed up where the
outbuildings are. I have briefly scanned the internet for sheds and come
across this:

Comments anyone?

Looks a good value shed and hopefully secure enough.
2020mm high - we can check height issues while vegetation clearing.
I'll support it at Grange Committee in mid-July. We have already agreed Friends of Littleover Parks can put up a shed to store their clippers etc.
I'll check with Bonsai Bill for the nearest electrical socket to run an extension.
Part funding from Derby council would be nice.

Thanks Bill,

I will put the idea to Kelsey on Friday. Any idea how the Friends of Littleover Parks are planning to fund a shed? 10 x 8 is a reasonable size and if we can get power to it I think it should be very useful. It is a quick and easy way of getting the area up and running without having the expense of renovating the out buildings.

Much cheaper than I expected! Definitely worth further investigation in my opinion.

This one has a higher eaves height (just under 6'). It puts the ridge height at 2.24m (7' 4").

Hadn't noticed before it has partial translucent roof panels so would get daylight under the existing plastic roof.

Based on fairly crude measurements it looks like the larger shed will fit neatly into the area under the canopy. I will check the measurements at Wednesday's meeting. The base will easily accomodate a pair of sheds side by side.

Measured the space more accurately yesterday and the 10 x 12 shed won't fit front to back. It will fit sideways though and there is enough space for two sheds. Access will be between the two sheds.

Hi Bernard

Can you tell us the measurements of the right hand covered space please.

Cheers, Martin
