Hi there

I am trying to move five parts from a buffer to another with labor, then the User Manual indicates

Labor Departure Requirements
This button is used to assign the minimum part requirements that need to be satisfied for the laborer to leave the current element. If you were modelling the situation where a laborer was required to pick up five parts at a buffer and then leave, this would be easily done using this button for the desired buffer. The departure requirements must be specified as a table. Note: For labor departure requirements to work, you will need to ensure that the labor has capacity greater than or equal to the departure requirements, and that the route logic of the labor should is set to a non-blocking type.

However, I can't find the route logic of the labor, where is it?

Many thanks

Ricardo

I believe that this is an error in the documentation.

Here is a model that does what you specified.

Using Decision Points and paths is the easiest (in my opinion) for this kind of behavior.

Hope that it helps.

Thank you!

I get it now, however for some elements it is possible without decision points, for other elements it is necessary,

I attached an example, well I think so,

Kind regards,

Still here J

Ricardo:

Your model just needed the capacity of the laborer to be set to 5.

Then  it worked fine  - for the case with or without Decision points.

See attached.
