Hi -

While a great many of us here enjoy helping one another, those typically focus on targeted areas of a given connector or its behavior rather than a broad spectrum of Debezium as a whole.

I suggest if you're unfamiliar with Debezium, you could take a first pass at working through our online tutorial [1]. While the tutorial primarily focuses on MySQL for simplicity, those steps carry over to the other connectors relatively well aside from database setups which are naturally vendor-specific. There is also our FAQ [2], which provides answers to a long list of common questions we often see from the community.

After that, if you still have questions, you're welcomed to ask those, but I suggest you ask questions about focused areas, e.g.

Can I disable GTID behavior after I have started streaming with Debezium?
Can I recover if someone mistakenly dropped my PostgreSQL replication slot?
I got this specific error, here's my log and stack trace, can you explain what went wrong and how do I fixed it?
    etc...

Unfortunately Debezium's ecosystem is broad, including over a dozen dedicated connectors, Debezium Server, Platform, Quarkus Extensions, Binlog Client, including a half-dozen community-led connectors, and so much more. The more specific you can be about what issues you are facing and what you need to know helps make sure you get the most appropriate and concrete information that helps you and your situation.

TIA,
-cc
