Dear community,

Is there a way to assign a certain BC to a node? Or are we stiĺl struggling a lot to do this in deal.ii?

Can specify what you mean by "assign a certain BC [boundary condition] to a node"? Typically boundary conditions only make sense on the boundary of a mesh with codimension 1 (embedded in the same physical space).
Thus, you would only consider setting boundary conditions on a node/point (0-dimensional) if you are dealing with a 1d-mesh.
You can, of course, just add a constraint for a specific degree of freedom in your AffineConstraints object, also see step-11.

Best,
Daniel
