I have received following error while running step_17. How do I solve the problem?

Himal,
the error suggests that the version of gmsh you have on your machine is
missing a function. Do any of the other (non-MPI) tutorials run?

No sir, after this incident whenever I try to run any step (mpi as well as non-mpi) this error message pops up.

Then your gmsh installation is incomplete. If you don't actually need gmsh,
you can try to configure deal.II without gmsh, and recompile everything.

Alternatively, you can install deal.II through your package manager if you are
on a supported system, and then the deal.II installation should just work.
