Hello everyone,
I am working on a bending problem of membrane or thin plate, which is involved to the locking problem. I found a discussion in deal.ii gmail group in 2018 that Prof. Bangerth mentioned the mixed method which was available in deal.ii. I am wondering if there is any example for this problem, or deal.ii has any new features in locking free thin plate problem after the 6-year development?
Best Regards
Leonhard

Léonhard:
it all depends on what kind of equation you want to use to model the
bending of a membrane. But assuming you are using the biharmonic
equation, there are now two tutorial programs that solve this equation:
step-47 and step-82.
