DDI-CDI meeting tomorrow - Agenda

We meet tomorrow Wednesday March 12^th at 15:00 UK time/16:00 CET/11:00 EDT.

 

Please find the agenda below:

 

1. Admin

1. Follow-up from last meeting (see point 1 – 3 in the minutes)

• Google folder structure
• Webinar
• Publication of paper

1.2 Other admin

2. Production tool, progress update
3. 2 year plan and reporting CDI WG.

• The Scientific Board has asked all WG’s to provide a two year plan in line with the Scientific Work Plan before the Annual meeting of the Scientific Community on May 22^nd .

The CDI plan is, however, missing. It would be really good if the CDI group can get a plan for 2025-2026 in place before the annual meeting.

• Also, we will be asked to do some reporting before meeting and should be prepared for that.

Dear all,

 

I wanted to give you an update from the CDI - Tools subgroup.

 

Deirdre and I have had two meetings so far where we discussed various ideas on how to proceed with the subgroup.

 

In the first meeting, we reviewed existing CDI prototypes such as Nectar, the Wide Table Generation for STATA & SPSS, Sikt's database approach, UKDA’s datafile builder and CDI conversion to RDF for projects like Qlever/Sparql engine.

 

In the second meeting, we agreed to arrange a meeting with Pascal to discuss our CDI tooling efforts and help shape the group's direction. Deirdre is in contact with Pascal regarding this.

 

After that, we plan to speak with Olof and Oliver to learn more about the development of Nectar and also to get their input.

 

Once we have a folder for the subgroup, I will move the minutes to that location.

 

I'm not sure I will be able to make it to the CDI working group meeting on Wednesday due to other commitments, but I will do my best.
