Transfer Syntax

[dcm learner]

Hi,

I am trying to send A JPEGLSLOSSY image transfer syntax ( 1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.81) to dcm4chee-arc5.

I get a message no presentation context for DX .

How to enable support for lossy image storage.

Or how to add another transfer syntax to archive?

Please guide.

Cannot reproduce: Presentation context Digital X-Ray Image Storage - For Presentation  with JPEG-LS Lossy (Near-Lossless) Image Compression are accepted by default configuration of dcm4chee-arc-5

Perhaps your client offers Implicit VR Little Endian and JPEG-LS Lossy (Near-Lossless) Image Compression in just one Presentation Context for Digital X-Ray Image Storage - For Presentation, so the Archive selects Implicit VR Little Endian and not JPEG-LS Lossy (Near-Lossless) Image Compression. To workaround, you may configuring JPEG-LS Lossy (Near-Lossless) Image Compression as PreferredTransferSyntax(s) of Network AE Extension of the Storage Network AE (default:DCM4CHE) of the archive.
