Does Oviyam2 support secured dcm4chee-arc

I tried to view images on the secured dcm4chee deployment without much luck. Does it support the secured deployment?

From several response here, I don't think it oviyam2 works with the secured DCM4CHEE.

Did you try Oviyam with Tomcat server and dcm4chee-arc (by adding dcm4chee-arc in server settings)? If yes, please share the tomcat error log if possible.

Oviyam2 and dcm4chee-arc-light works alright. Unable to get it to work with dcm4chee-arc-light-secured-ui.

Hi,

Log in with admin user credentials and go to the settings page. In settings, select the "Server" tab and add a new server (dcm4chee-arc) as shown in the attached screenshot.

Hi Meer,

I have installed the Dcm4che Arc docker version. (followed steps at https://github.com/dcm4che/dcm4chee-arc-light/wiki/Run-secured-archive-services-on-a-single-host)

Separately installed Tomcat 8.5 and made its default port into 8081.

Then downloaded the Oviyam 2.8 and adhered to the all instructions;

1. Copy all jar files at the tomcat folder into "lib" folder

2. Copy oviyam2.war in to "webapps" folder

3. restart the tomcat

Added Dcm4Chee arc AE Tittle to the Oviyam

Then, I got a response like this. BUT IMAGES ARE NOT DISPLAYING...

Could you please assist me with this?

dcm4chee-arc server log path: /var/local/dcm4chee-arc/wildfly/log/server.log

Tomcat server log path: <tomcat-base-location>/logs/catalina.out

I guess dcm4chee 5 arc light WADO service is secured with keycloak. If that is the case, then Oviyam2.x doesn't support secured version of dcm4chee 5 arc light.

However let us test it configuring a secured version of dcm4chee arc light and update ASAP. Currently we have setup an unsecured version in our testing server, that is being used by multiple teams involved in DICOM development.

There is no support to deploy Oviyam directly into dcm4chee-arc 5 / wildfly server. You can set up Oviyam in JBoss or Tomcat and configure dcm4chee-arc 5 as a DICOM archive.

Hi everyone!

I've been struggling with this for a long time, but there seems to be hope somewhere down the road.

I have a Synology NAS working with DSN6.2 OS (a stripped down version of linux), that runs Docker.
Synology has a add-on package that runs DCM4CHEE 5.11.0 Secure (with Keycloak and Wildfly) (https://www.synology.com/en-us/dsm/packages/PACS).

I downloaded another docker container from the Hub that would run Oviyam2 and configured it to connect to the Synology DCM4CHEE-ARC docker image already running via WADO, and it works like a charm, with full studies, thumbnails, for all modalities, and then the PACS suddenly stops responding. The same thing happens when I connect it to HOROS.
Yesterday I tried with a OHIF container, but I could not make it run properly.

I imagine that Keycloak detects the multiple requests from the same IP to the PACS and interprets it as a DDOS attack and blocks the access.

I haven't found the way to whitelist the Oviyam2 address in Keycloak to avoid it being blocked after those couple of minutes/requests.

Please let me know if anyone has had success connecting a HTML5 DICOM viewer to DCM4CHEE-arc-secure.

Hi,

Could you please assist me?

I installed Dcm4chee arc 5 (Non Secure) docker edition - Success

Install tomcat in the same server and changed it IP into 8081.

Adhere the oviyam installation,

FAILED..Cannot login to the admin.

I did the same as expidite on the manual.

"For Tomcat Server:

1. Copy all jar files from "tomcat" folder into Tomcat "Lib" folder.
2. Uncomment the user roles,user names in "conf/tomcat-users.xml" file.
3. Add new user role, user name for "admin".
4. Deploy Oviyam2.war into Tomcat "webapps" folder."

Here is my EDITED "tomcat-users.xml"

Please advice me where I have done the wromg..???

Hi,

Any error in the tomcat server log? Why there are two blocks of user tags? Which tomcat version are you using?

Thanks, I will share the tomcat error log in next email. I used tomcat 8.

I didn’t understand, just I followed the instructions when editing the tomcat-users.xml.

Please guide me on that.

I succeeded.

This is the oviyam configuration to read dicom series to the dcm4chee that I am using

the hostname inoviyam settings is the name that you assign in the docker to dcm4chee-arc-psql: 5.24.0-secure

docker run --network=dcm4chee_network --name arc -p 8080:8080 -p ............
