Medieval Dinner: July 10, 7pm
On Thursday the 13th Tim is preparing a dinner party which will recreate a Medieval feast. Guests are encouraged to RSVP to Tim at 203 822 8821 via Whatsapp, and to bring a drink, or a small dessert or side. Medieval-themed drinks are fun.
Show up at 7, food will be served starting at 8. You can see the recipe here. If you have any questions, ask Tim.
The address is 1002 N Street NW, follow the sign for "Free Utility". It's 2 blocks from Mt. Vernon Square metro and 6 blocks from Metro Center. There is street parking, the 24/7 gas station at 1317 9th Street will cheaply sell you a spot.
ACX Meetup / Nerd Party: July 19, 7pm
This month's meetup will be Saturday the 19th at 7:00pm. If the weather is nice we may end up outside on the patio with a fire. As ever, all friends, plus ones, and interesting acquaintances are welcome!
We're potlucking, so please bring your best dish and drinks, several others will be as well. If anyone wants to organize other activities, please let us know.

Hey Yall, Tim here.
The recipe for the tenth will be rissoles, a common fast food in England in the 1300s. It is a bit like an empanada. You can see a video about them here or the recipe here.
I will definitely have a sweet filling with apples and figs. You can also bring your own filling if you would like. Apparently medeivals did that often because they did not trust their chefs to use safe meat.
