We have a board election coming up! At next month's general meeting, we will start the election process by electing a nominating committee (more on this in another email), but we also need to figure out how to actually run the election. Elaine and I agreed that a conversation on the nitty-gritty of the election process is beyond the scope of a general meeting.
As such, we will hold a special meeting of the membership to discuss the election details. The proposed date is one day after the general meeting,
Tuesday, July 1st, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (location TBD).

During this meeting, we will also delegate individuals, committees, or working
groups to make progress on setting up our election.
