Mail in my in box

Hi,

  I screwed up something in my Apple Mail program. Right now, the only emails that show up are the ones that came today. None of the previously received emails are shown anymore. Is there something I can do to get back my entire mailbox contents that always used to be visible?

Mary,

Apple made changes to the mail programs for all the operating systems.That may be what you are experiencing. I was also I having issues with mail, not seeing my mail the way it was in earlier versions of Mail. You can check MacRumors.com for instructions to revert to  view mail you are accustomed to for each OS , Mac & iOS for iPhone and iPad.

Al, 

    I don’t think those instructions will solve the problem - I don’t have the 3 dots to go to in the first place - the problem is on my Mac laptop. The link you sent is for iPhones and iPads. Is there something for laptop computers?
