Google groups for working groups created

Working groups email lists have been created for both Export/Harvest and Internationalization.

Were these new Google Groups purposely set to private (unlike the main Google Group)? I expected that I'd be able to click these links and see the mailing list archives but it says, "You must be a member of this group to view and participate in it." Not great for transparency. Maybe it's just an oversight?
