Hi everyone

We would like to explore the feasibility whether the landing page of the dataverse can be customized to show the "first-level" dataverses/folders only, deeper level dataverses, i.e., dataverses created under the first-level dataverses, will be suppressed from displaying.

N.B. Datasets will be displayed in the existing way, i.e., no matter datasets are created under the first-level dataverses or deeper level dataverses, will be shown on the landing page.

Many thanks!

Best regards
Edwin

Hi Edwin,

Similar ideas have definitely been discussed, but I don't believe we have an issue for this in the issue tracker for the new React-based frontend: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse-frontend/issues

Please feel free to create one!

Thanks,

Phil

Would you like to have this behavior for the root, top-level collection specifically? Or for all collections that have more than one level of sub-collections?

Hi Phil

Many thanks for the information. I have created an issue at IQSS GitHub https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse-frontend/issues/996

Have a nice weekend
Edwin
