REGISTRATION IS OPEN- Dataverse Community Meeting, 2022

You are cordially invited to take part in the Annual Dataverse Community Meeting, hosted by the Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS), Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. 

We will again hold an online version of our annual Meeting.

 

This event is free and open to researchers, librarians, archivists, publishers, funders, software developers, and anyone interested in data repositories. Space is limited! Please register at your earliest convenience.

Could you clarify the breakout sessions:

Sessions 1 & 2 sometimes have different durations. Is session 2 a follow-up on session 1 or are they similar?

As for the breakouts, if you look at the agenda,  only one session (Geospatial) has two additional presentations on session 1, not available for session 2.

All other sessions should have similar time allotted for their duplicate session. If you find differently,  please let me know.

Yes, there are some discrepancies. I am looking at the registration form BTW. I used the registration form as a reference, because on the agenda for the 14th breakouts the time zone is not mentioned and the GDCC session did not have a time slot yet.

Curation / Workflows: session 1 is 1,5h in UTC, but 2h in EDT; session 2 is 2h

Tools/Curation/Metadata: session 1 is 1,5h, session 2 is 2h

Under Tuesday June 14 - Breakout Sessions > Software Session 1 and  Integrations/Tools Session 1,  the talks seem to be duplicated with Thursday June 16 - Breakout Sessions > Software Session 2 and  Integrations/Tools Session 2.

Could clarify which is the correct time? Thanks!

These are all duplicated sessions in order to accommodate for participants from different time zones.
