Dataverse stats dropped after upgrading to v5.10.1

Hi,

We did an upgrade to v5.9,5.10, 5.10.1 today. We noticed that the 'Downloads' metric on the homepage (top), had decreased by about 2,000 downloads. 

After digging further, on dataset.xhtml (https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/blob/develop/src/main/webapp/dataverse.xhtml), it seems like guestbookResponseServiceBean.getCountOfAllGuestbookResponses was updated (https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/7804).

Could we check what's the difference in tabulation of downloads between 5.8/5.9's using guestbookResponseServiceBean.getCountOfAllGuestbookResponses function?

There is indeed a difference, resulting in an estimated value for 5.9 onwards:
