upgrade to 5.5 solr schema.xml load problem

When trying to update our installation to 5.5 I also followed upgrade instructions for solr,

but got following error:

Can't load schema /usr/local/solr/solr-8.8.1/server/solr/collection1/conf/schema.xml: copyField source :'studyAssayOtherPlatform' is not a glob and doesn't match any explicit field or dynamicField.

To make it work again, I needed to remove

studyAssayOtherPlatform

studyAssayOtherTechnologyType

studyOtherDesignType

studyOtherFactorType

from schema.xml, and after that it worked. I'm wondering is this our local mis-configuration or schema.xml file included in release is wrong?

Those appear to be fields in the current biomedical metadata block that were added in v5.1. It is likely that you didn’t update your block during that upgrade.
