Hi all,

We would like to invite anyone who’s interested to join in on a Dataverse sustainability workshop around the topic of Governance on April 30th from 17:00 CEST to 19:00 CEST (11 am to 1 pm EDT) online via: https://deic.zoom.us/j/69885260340.

In the last couple of months, the Dataverse sustainability working group has analysed the current situation of Dataverse’s sustainability. And for it, four categories of elements were evaluated in line with the It Takes a Village Framework: governance, technology, resources, and community engagement. With the phase analyses resulting as follows (more info in the google folder):

·       Governance: phase 1/3

·       Technology: phase 2,5/3

·       Resources: phase 2/3

·       Community Engagement: phase 1/3

As we’re now done with the ITAV analysis phase, we want to take the next steps to start formulating recommendations for each of the categories. The first category is the one we want to focus on first.

So, the working group is organizing a workshop to do a catastrophizing exercise as written out by the ITAV guidelines.

Hopefully, we’ll see you there.

Kind regards,

The Dataverse sustainability WG

I missed this meeting but I checked the notes* and the catastrophizing exercise looked like fun! Here's the board: https://app.klaxoon.com/join/2D2ZDUN
