Hello !

We have a 4.5.1 dataverse installed and want to harvest a set from the DataCite OAI provider http://oai.datacite.org/oai
Datasets are created in our dataverse, but we get a failure to redirect the users to the landing page ou archival source associated to the DOI, for example : https://search.datacite.org/works/10.15454/1.493821497982997E12

You can see below how we have configure OAI client :
  • server URL : https://oai.datacite.org/oai
  • OAI set : INIST.INRA
  • metadata format : datacite
  • archive type : generic OAI resource (DC)
  • archive URL :

Do you know how to configure the dataverse OAI client to harverst DataCite provider with success ?

Thanks for your help

Hi there - is your installation accessible from outside your institution? If so, can you please provide a link to an example dataset? It will be helpful to start to troubleshoot this.

Thanks,

Danny

Hi Danny

We will see if it's possible to give you this access on the test installation.
We have also tried to harvest DataCite OAI provider on the preproduction installation, you cas see at https://data-preproduction.inra.fr/dataverse/oaiharvested

Thanks
Sylvie

Thanks, but we can't reach that site from here. I tried but `curl` (http and https) and http://isitdownorjust.me/data-preproduction-inra-fr/

Maybe someone in the community can help by attempting to harvest from DataCite? If no one replies about this, please email sup...@dataverse.org

Thanks!

Phil
