I have a seagate that i cloned with mrt
its got a bunch of mold sectors
is there a utility to scan the files and display
files and offsets in the files and percent damage
for the mold and sedu sectors.

Is there any updagtes to ways to improve the mold problem.

Create a file header for the mOLD sector.
In PC3K, in the RAW drive, begin a GREP search with that file header.

Depending on capacity and amount of sectors, it may be time-consuming.

When it finishes, right click on the chains and save as a map. From there do as you please.

If you want to get a idea on percent, convert map to "unreadable blocks" in the legend.
Got to the file tree and generate a report to denote "!Problem" files. Then divide bad files to good files and get a percentage.

My file lister would have that option also to scan files for invalid data and list them or copy to another folder (like it does actually with bad header, files with pattern and thoose, which doesn't open)
