Good evening. I did a recovery for a customer who had backed up about eight computers to one drive. The recovery was successful but he had a lot of duplication between the drives. Does anybody have a suggestion for a program that could parse out repetitive files in a large recovery?

Thanks.

Hello Philip, I'd try Duplicate Cleaner Pro 5.

Makes no sense, backed up how then?

What was the problem with the drive, file system?

If you back up 8 computers to one drive, wasn't there tons of duplicates to start with and before the accident and subsequent recovery? How was it organized before and why is this a problem now?

The question is about deduplication in general. He had wondered about this before his drive failed and decided to ask me about it.
