sorry but this scenario is not the case for the translator regeneration solution now available in the PC-3000 utility for those Hitachi/WD drives

(it has been added a new whole brand in the utility selection)

The DFL solution sharply explain that you must have a drive that 

1. doesn't click

2. gives UNC on all sectors

at 97% when you will open the drive (we have opened plenty of the WD 8, 10, 12 TB my books with helium gas) you will find at least 1 head turned opaque)
