Can we see terminal log?
Can the heads read any user data at all anywhere?

Thanks a lot Team
Yes sector access is possible , While entering Terminal doesn't display anything .
If I could somehow disable  reallocation & solve MCMT issue that might make  imaging smooth.
I don't  what means   "Request for volume 9/A file allocation table in RAM "  Error

There is no Media Cache with this family so you can rule that out.

SMP flags are sys file 8F not 93 on these.

The two errors you see are because the files do not exist on this drive family so can be ignored.

Head map building is supported, so you have other issues.

Can you write to a non-essential sys file to test writing.

Pls. help. Thanks

Hi Tim
Thanks for the vital information ,I can ignore these errors next time. Yes I can write system files .
Interestingly I was successful in clearing smp flags & drive become super smooth , except 3 bad sectors I was able to image entire disk.
Thank you all of you for all the support.
