 Perform a soft reset and check if any noise is coming from the device. It may indicate a head issue

ok I updated pc3k to 77
tried hgst ccb
gets this
 Also made audio recording of startup

I opened drive - looks perfect inside.
heads are free on ramp
no bent heads or cracked ramps

Heads issue.
The heads are faulty and cannot read anything from the surface, so the SA modules were not loaded from the surface and the HDD only works with ROM.

ok testing the new utility with a working drive
but doesnt ID drive....
this is a non HE with the same type of pcb style
I tried all the families with no joy.
