Repair tool for corrupt MXF video

Do you know a good tool to repair / fix a corrupt MXF-videofile?

As far as I am aware they all offer manual service if the automatic tools do not work. That also includes recovery: Say you're unable to do file system based recovery and carving results suck, they can often work miracles if you send them an image file of the storage device.

I manage to repair MP4/MOV quite often but never looked into MXF yet.

There are many video type stand alone tools that make claims, but I have never found to be very good (zero result basically).

I should add that specifically with MXF issues, that I have worked with TV stations and professional video producers using MXF, have always referred those to AeroQuarted and they always got the job done.

If this is still relevant .. I had someone with corrupt MXF video and I was able to repair it. So if you want me to try send me corrupt file + a GOOD reference file (so shot with same camera & similar settings.

Hi. Thanks for the offer - I got something done with reencoding the file and they are after that a lot longer but I am still waiting for the feedback of the client.

Video Repair Tool - Grau GmbH Hardware & Software Solutions (grauonline.de)

I have had some luck using this tool before. It's fairly inexpensive and it has a demo mode that you can mess around with to see if it will work for you.
