Introducing 'FACTLY Dashboards'

At Factly, our endeavour has always been to make public data more meaningful not just by using numbers & charts, but also by providing the necessary knowledge & context about issues. With this goal in mind, we have begun creating dashboards on important public issues whose data is not generally available in the public domain.
Today, we launched Factly Dashboards. Dashboards on six different issues are included in the initial release. This is an ongoing effort, and we will continue to add dashboards on important issues regularly. We invite you to explore these dashboards and share your valuable feedback.
In recent times, Electoral Bonds have become one major source of income for major political parties. This dashboard provides all the information & data related to electoral bonds purchased & redeemed till date that will help you get a holistic understanding of the issue. There are 5 menu options related to electoral bond information, purchase, redemption, comparison of purchase and redemption and Bonds redeemed by various political parties.
GST Collections
In this dashboard, we provide all the information & data related to the collection of Goods & Services Tax (GST) since its inception in 2017. We have 5 menu options related to What is GST, All India GST Collection, GST Collection by State & Type, GST Growth, Compensation Cess collection & distribution to states.
NOTA and Numbers
NOTA (None of the Above) enabled voters to express their dissatisfaction with the contesting candidates. Even though votes polled for NOTA are not taken into consideration during counting, it has become an important aspect of Indian Elections. We have 7 menu options dealing with What is NOTA, Lok Sabha State-wise, Assembly State-wise, Lok Sabha YoY, Assembly YoY, Lok Sabha Category-wise, Assembly Category-wise where we explore NOTA vote share over the years and in general Vs reserved seats.
India’s Republic Day Guests
India has the tradition of inviting Heads of State and Dignitaries from other countries as the Chief Guest for the annual Republic Day (RD) parade. Data shared by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in response to an application under RTI reveals some interesting insights about the ‘Chief Guest’ to the Republic Day parade. In this dashboard, we provide all the information related to India’s Republic Day Chief Guest since 1950. We have 2 menu options, Introduction, By Country, on a Map, Guests Invited, in detail.
Women in Union Council of Ministers
Unlike in most other democracies, Women have been a part of the Union Council of Ministers in India from the first ever Lok Sabha in 1952. However, their representation & role has been limited. In this dashboard, we provide all the information & data related to Women in the Union Council of Ministers since the first Lok Sabha.
