Covid bed availability on a map

Dear All,

We started https://covi-find.in  2 weeks back, with the intention of geolocating all the covid beds in India. It is an open source project. Here's the github repo : https://github.com/Rohithgilla12/covi-find . Will be great if anyone wants to contribute.

We are also trying to help as many as we can through our twitter handle @CoviFind . Any volunteers to help verify leads will be really useful.

@Bhanu - Thanks for the reference. Will get in touch with them to see how we could collaborate to serve only verified leads, because govt numbers are not correct in many cases and manual verification is needed.

@Pradeep - You can join our discord server :  discord.gg/QWPxEzwfHa . There are a lot of possible ways to help. Either in frontend (written in next.js and typescript), or backend - Scraping reliable and verified sites.

We are thinking of ways of helping rural population and people who dont have access to smartphones. One idea is to have a SMS based FAQbot, which will reply to queries sent by SMS. Creating whatsapp bot is tough as you need to have Whatsapp business API, and they dont provide it for small upstarts.
