Folks,
I have been browsing the Local Government Director (LGDIR) dataset to check for some issues with our data for MP.

I find that there are errors (at least for MP) in the "Block" variable. E.g., in Dindori district, it shows only 1 block  (Dindori) when we know there are 7 blocks in this district.

I was wondering if folks had noticed this? Is the problem only in MP?

The problem is everywhere. The blocks data in LGD is poorly maintained. Even in states where the blocks are the subdistricts, the blocks and the subdistricts data doesn't match.

If its of any help, the list of nodal officers for every state with their contact and date of last login is here: https://lgdirectory.gov.in/rptNodalOfficerDetailOfState.do

The person responsible for the Madhya Pradesh block data made the last update 2 weeks ago, maybe worth reaching out and finding out if a feedback system is in place.

The feedback form is intermittently broken. I dropped them an email informing of the broken feedback form. No response. I didn't try directly contacting the nodal officers though. Might be worth a shot.
