Hello,

I downloaded the National TUS data from the NADA site.
I decoded the txt files into csv and am able to see the district information.
I am unable to map the state code to the district as the columns don't mention a state.
However, their states and districts directory gives a state number and district number.

Has anyone decoded this data and figured out where the State code is encoded?

Thanks,
Vaidya

Dear Vaidya,

If you are talking about the TUS 2019, then it does have information on NSS-region, state and district.

Even if it is not there, from NSS-region, you can extract the State information.

Let me know if you need the files.

Thank You

Got it, thanks. The first 2 numbers of the NSS-Region is the state code.
