Hello all,

Opencity.in invites you to a datajam on "Bengaluru - Walkability".

About the event:
Sensing Local has recently completed walkability audits across 19 wards in Bengaluru, covering 350km of footpaths and 185 junctions, with the support of over 150 volunteers. At the Datajam, participants can dive deep into this data to identify trends and patterns that give us better insights into pedestrian infrastructure in different parts of the city, its impact and potential entry points for intervention.

Data from the audit is available at www.walkablecities.in.

The output/findings from the datajam can be part of the exhibits at 'Namma Raste' an exhibition and convening, organised by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP,) in partnership with WRI India, under the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety at the Glass House, BBMP Head Office on the 8th and 9th December 2023.
